Working with Agents to Serve Together

When agent Cory Schroeder works with clients who are purchasing insurance, he makes sure to build the trust that Illinois Mutual will be there for them in their time of need.

Having that foundation to protect the entire family, regardless of what life throws at them, is absolutely integral in setting up a good financial foundation. You know, if something unexpected comes up over the next 30 or 40 years, which is, you know, relatable, I mean, life can throw curveballs, and it's just nice to be able to have that conversation just in a very matter of fact, but friendly way to get people thinking like, "Hey, are we set up as a family to take care, you know, of our future?"

As far as working with people, it's really one of my values. I'm a people person. The most rewarding thing is just the peace of mind and how appreciative clients are with insurance. Gaining that trust between the client and myself. They're basically putting their financial future to a degree in my hands that if something happens, you know, they're covered. So I think that building that trust and also the friendship there to know that they can count on their policy if anything goes wrong.

I really got excited about working with Illinois Mutual after having a few conversations with some of the people in Home Office and really just working hands on with the product. They're very flexible in their approach and they listen and it feels exactly like a partnership, and they just really take a caring approach to everybody that works with them, and that's something that you can really feel.
