Assistance for Georgia Policyowners Affected by Hurricane Isaias

Recently, residents of Georgia were impacted by Hurricane Isaias that occurred from October 8, 2026 through October 12, 2026.

For our policyowners:

Effective immediately, the following actions are applicable until December 8, 2026 for all affected policyowners in Georgia due to Hurricane Isaias:

Extensions on payment of premium. Policyowners in Georgia may defer premium payments that come due, interest-free, until December 8, 2026. Any cancellation or lapse notices you receive may be ignored if the lapse or cancellation date is prior to December 8, 2026. Premium should be paid by December 8, 2026.
Extensions on other time limits. Illinois Mutual is extending the time periods for taking other actions that have time limits, such as the submission of a claim, proof of loss or other information, up to and including December 8, 2026.
